The Default View is ‘Advanced search’ but you also select ‘Keyword search’.
If you select ‘Keyword search’ you can enter a name, company name, area code, city, county, state, or zip/code. As you are typing in the word(s), the program will tell how many records were found. It will also show information on each record. It is best used if you know the person’s name or company name.
The ‘Advanced search’ is a more comprehensive search engine. The default is:
CITY
COUNTY
STATE
ZIPCODE
REAL ESTATE PROFESSIONAL TYPE
You can match ‘All’ of these criteria or choose ‘Any’ to match any one of the criteria. Within criteria, you have several options. For example with city, county, state/province or zip/postal code, you can choose from:
Contain,
Is,
Does not contain,
Is not,
Empty,
Not Empty,
Begin with,
End with, and
Any.
We suggest that you choose ‘Is’.
For Real Estate Professional Type, the choices are:
Any of selected,
All of selected,
None of selected,
Any.
We suggest that you choose ‘All of selected’.
You can add criteria or remove criteria.
To add criteria, select ‘Add criteria’. A box opens up called ‘Add search criteria’ select one or more from the list then hit ‘ok’.
To remove criteria, click on ‘remove’ to the right of the criteria you want to remove. If you want to add the criteria back, select ‘Add criteria’. A box opens up called ‘Add search criteria’ select one or more from the list hit ‘ok’.
